About the Fox River Scholarship Center

Graduation ceremony The Fox River Scholarship Center is a comprehensive online scholarship resource that simplifies the scholarship search and application process for local students and helps individuals and organizations promote the scholarships they fund.

This website is hosted by the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, a 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization serving Winnebago, Waushara and Green Lake counties, and the city of Ripon in Fond du Lac County, Wis. The Fox River Scholarship Center includes dozens of scholarships held at the Community Foundation, as well as others that are offered by local civic, community and other organizations. We partner with several area school districts to administer their Scholarship Funds, including public and private schools in Oshkosh, Omro, Neenah, Winneconne, Wautoma, Green Lake and Ripon.

Mar. 9, 2026	Application deadline for Winneconne Area Community Foundation Scholarships
Mar. 9, 2026	Application deadline for Neenah Joint School District Scholarships
Mar.20, 2026	Application deadline for Wautoma High School Scholarships
Apr. - May, 2026	Application processing and selection meetings
May, 2026	Notification letters sent to recipients, schools and Scholarship Fund holders
June 2026	Recipient scholarship forms due (new and renewal)
Aug.6, 2026	First semester scholarship awards paid out to colleges
Dec. 31, 2026	Recipient scholarship forms due (GPA and spring course load verification)
Jan. 6, 2027	Second semester scholarship awards paid out to colleges

Application Tips

Applications for many of the scholarships on this website are online. At the end of your search, you will be provided a link that will take you to another website to complete the application. Completing the online application enters you in the selection process for dozens of scholarship funds held by the Community Foundation. For other scholarships, links may take you to the organization’s website, or you may download materials to complete on your personal computer or device.
